Founders of Lime Green, brothers James and Simon Ayres, are delighted to hear that one of the many projects they’ve been involved in has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize for the UK’s best new building.

Newport Street Gallery in Vauxhall, famous for it’s Damien Hirst Exhibition, involved the conversion of a terrace of listed industrial buildings, formerly used as workshops for theatre carpentry and scenery painting.

Keylex Unlocks Staff Room Access at Weston’s New College

The construction of metal and glass allied to the pitch of the pitch of the roof could have almost been designed as a sound reverberation chamber. The light needed controlling; the fabric had to be robust and durable with a very heavy bottom bar being specified on a blind of 6.0 m drop and the acoustics had to be addressed.
