Aramark has won the Best Client and Service Provider at the Facilities and Management 2017 awards which took place on Thursday, April 6th at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin. The awards were attended by the industry’s most influential figures and leading organisations.

Aramark won the Best Client and Service Provider award for its longstanding and successful relationship with KBC Bank Ireland. Aramark’s relationship with KBC began in 2004, when KBC awarded Aramark the contract to provide Total Facilities Management services for their facilities in Cork, Dublin, Limerick and Galway. Aramark currently provides Integrated Facilities and Property Management services to the entire KBC estate including their hub network, which has grown from 5 hubs in 2012 to 19 in 2016. Completing the service provider offer for KBC, Aramark then won under competitive tender, the Food Services contract for KBC in 2016, where they are responsible for the catering of 700 employees in Sandwith Street in Dublin.

“The long list of services provided by Aramark is a strong testimony to the ability of the company to grow and develop to fulfil the client’s needs.” Roger Brennan, MD of Aramark Facilities Management, said. “Aramark is increasingly becoming the one-stop-shop for companies looking for integrated facilities management solutions including FM, Property and Food. It’s no wonder – having a single point of contact for all required services is a massive convenience for companies.”

Roger Brennan said that Aramark’s commitment to excellence and expertise in things like energy conservation and water efficiency is what separates it from its competitors.

“In modern corporations, Corporate Social Responsibility plays a big part in what sways a company in choosing a winning contract.” Brennan said. “Commitments like water conservation encompasses activities, strategies and policies of managing water environment which aims to achieve sustainability to meet client demands for sometimes thousands of employees which offering competitive rates. Best environmental practises is something that is hugely important to Aramark, and hugely important to our clients too.”

The recycling rate at KBC was increased by 96% in 2016, thus massively reducing the landfill disposal amount.

“We are overjoyed to win the Client and Service Provider award,” Joe Riordan, Facilities Account Director for Aramark, said. “It is a testimony to the long-standing partnership we have built with KBC. Our close working relationship makes us feel like a valued and integral part of the overall organisation.”

Aramark also received the Client and Service provider relationship of the year at the 2016 FM awards for their work with Three Ireland.
