BESS provide electrical power when needed quickly to support your site, as well as reducing reliance on GRID supplied power generation. Power Continuity has the technology to design, build and install bespoke battery energy storage solutions for any mainland site. Sizes from 500kVA to 10 Megawatts available. Containerised for longevity and flexibility.

BESS POWER CONTAINERS

Containerised BESS Solutions that can be located anywhere on hard standing, anywhere within the UK. ‘Walk inside’ containers with their own Air Conditioning, batteries and switchgear. Power Continuity engineers provide the installation to get your BESS up and running. They can be positioned outside your building. Weather proof and remotely monitored 24 hours a day

BESS = Income Stream

BESS systems have multiple income streams, including:

Grid-scale energy storage: BESS systems are used to store excess renewable energy for later use in grid-scale applications. From one megawatt to 20 megawatts. Each available megawatt will provide a cash payment from the GRID which can be approx. £100,000 per 12 month period. Even just one hour each day will provide your company with a profitable income stream for the next 20 years.

Commercial savings: BESS systems can help reduce energy costs for businesses by using your stored renewable energy at peak periods rather than paying the top costs to your electricity supplier, typically between 9-10am and 4-6pm each day. Charge during the night on low cost and use yourself during peak periods in the working day.

Electric vehicles: BESS systems are used to store and provide power to EV Chargers. When your site doesn’t have enough power for your company EV fleet then BESS will fill that energy gap. Why pay for more GRID capacity, when, with a balanced approach, you can use stored electricity to charge company vehicles and charge 65p per unit. Another Income stream.

BREAK AWAY FROM FOSSIL FUELS

BESS can help balance the grid, provide energy when needed, as well as reducing reliance on fossil fuel-based power generation. Power Continuity has the technology behind BESS, their advantages and applications in numerous sectors. Protect your environment and save the planet.

CRITICAL POWER SUPPLY

Battery energy storage solutions can be used to protect critical operations with the addition of a front end UPS system. This provides a fossil free power protection system.

Should your site need longer than a few hours we can then install the BESS in combination with emergency standby diesel generators ensuring that your critical site won’t lose power. GRID infrastructure is under strain during Summer Peaks and Winter overloads.

POWER PROTECTION

Battery energy storage solutions -Short term or Long-Term rental of the entire fully installed temporary automatic BESS allows a flexible ,  solution when a sudden power loss has happened. All remotely monitored 24 hours a day. Within your building or outside, containerised. Power Continuity protecting your critical infrastructure against power loss.

CRITICAL ADDITIONAL POWER SUPPLY SYSTEMS

Hospitals are running out of electrical power. More demanding hi tech equipment requires more power. With no additional GRID capacity, the next option is battery energy storage. Power Continuity can use the night time spare GRID capacity to charge your BESS ready to utilise during the working day.

WHAT ONLY THE BESS WILL DO !
