Camelgroup:  Bringing the comforts of home to every corner of the globe.

Camelgroup is an Italian furniture manufacturing company located in the Northeast of Italy.  A family run business established in 1983, they are well known in the industry for producing high quality furniture at an attractive price point for each of its many diverse markets.

Camelgroup employs over 50 people, all based in their 25,000m2 factories, from where every stage of production, from the initial prototype sketches to delivery is managed.  Design, raw material selection, cutting, edging, varnishing or lacquering, assembly, quality control, packing and delivery: the entire production and supply chain is under their strict control.

Flexibility, attention to customer needs and high-quality production are just some of the strengths of Camelgroup.  Not only do they select the form and the finish, but also every single component which will be incorporated to create the final product (wood, veneers, inlays, glass, fabric, leather, metal, varnish, decorative details).   Constantly investing in R&D, they are the owners of world patents for decorative veneers.

Another strength of Camelgroup, is their ability to process and load orders in much shorter time frames than other manufacturers. Based on their experience and understanding of the market, they keep in stock – ready for immediate loading, the models most in demand for each country and selling season. This can mean that at any moment they can have around 5,000 bedrooms and 3,000 dining rooms available for loading.  On a weekly basis they load an average of 800m3 of finished product.  The ability to provide rapid delivery is supported by their completely computerized systems and graphic 3D software.

Throughout the entire production chain, attention to the ecology and environment is paramount with the company utilising photovoltaic panels to generate 171 Kilowatt per hour of clean energy.  All packaging is sourced from recycled materials. Water paints are utilised for the products and the traceability of raw materials coming from FSC certified forests is guaranteed.

Camelgroup possesses UKCA certification (Uk Comformity Assessed) and all chairs and upholstered furnishings respect the ignition and fire retardant regulations of the UK and California.
