CCL Wetrooms Extend their Range of Wetroom Drainage Grills and Tapered Boards

CCL Wetrooms, the UK’s leading Wetroom Specialist has extended their range of wetroom grills and tapered boards for use with their market leading wetroom drains. The increased range provides customers with a greater choice of grill sizes for their wetroom projects.

Over the last ten years, wetrooms have witnessed a phenomenal increase in popularity in the UK and the trend towards open-plan alternatives has had a major impact on modern bathroom designs. This is due to the fact that wetrooms offer significant benefits over traditional bathrooms, including a greater flexibility of design options, a safer showering environment for those with restricted mobility and the opportunity for homeowners to maximise the investment potential of their property.

As the popularity of wetrooms has continued to increase, so has the demand for greater innovations within the showering environment.  Linear drainage is fast becoming the ‘must have’ requirement in a wetroom thanks to the stylish, minimal look that can be achieved. Whether it’s the option of a stainless steel wall or floor grill or a stunning stone-infill grill that gives the illusion of a continuous stone floor, linear options are out-stripping the demand for square drains.

Howard Ball, CCL Wetrooms Director commented, “In addition to the rise in demand for linear drains, we’re also seeing a shift in how customers are positioning the drains within their wetrooms. Customers are no longer constrained to a standard shape and size for their wetroom and consequently, are demanding improved aesthetics. We’re seeing a trend towards longer and narrower floor grills, grills up against the shower wall and in many cases, the back wall, as well as stone-infill grills that give the illusion of a continuous stone floor. For that reason, we have extended the range of standard sizes in both floor and wall grills and brought the manufacturing process in house to meet the demand. “

CCL Wetrooms have increased their range of linear floor & wall grills from four to nine standard lengths:- 600mm, 800mm, 900mm, 1000mm, 1100mm, 1200mm, 1300mm, 1400mm and 1500mm.

The grills are available in four different finishes, comprising Solid, Oblong Slotted, Square Slotted and the latest Stone-Infill Grill.

To complement the extended range of floor and wall grills, CCL Wetrooms have also introduced additional sizes of tapered boards. CCL Wetrooms’ extended range of tapered boards and grills are available for next day delivery.  All stainless steel wetroom grills are manufactured at the CCL Group of Companies premises in Hook.
