Certified Standards in the 21st century

“I express my thanks on how you conducted yourself, your commitment to customer service and how to deal with tenants query was exemplary, both tenants were very pleased.”

Care

“Help!’ was the cry from an elderly couple from St. Mary’s Tower, London.   My wife broke her arm and cannot get out of the Flat!”

Working to a standard is often scrutinised and despised by the other parties as lives at risk are brought into focus.

George Kokas of Peabody Enterprises, 45 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7JB, who was responsible for the refurbishment on the apartments, took immediate reaction, and rang Rutland as the first port of call who supplied the Door closers via one their distributors.   Rutland were on site to inspect the fitting of the door, door frame, fire integrity, door closer control, draft and weather seals and the smooth operation.  Every door has potential problems from any part of it and all aspects must be taken into consideration.

Understanding

On arrival the Client (who shall be unnamed) were encouraged to see us and demonstrated their problems with extreme excitement and graphic presentation.

George K with his customer relations etiquette handled the situation very well and took the heat out of the situation.  With understanding and technical knowledge the Rutland Team entered with care and respect – this is Mr and Mrs C’s house after all!

Identification

A survey soon told us where the problems were.  It was a high quality door and frame with very substantial hardware and a DDA door closer, very nicely fitted and there shouldn’t be any reason why there is problem with this situation.

The door closer was removed to show the client what the door is like without it.  The rubber blade seals were doing such a fantastic job that it took all of 107.2 Nm to pull the door open!

With adjustments to the door and refitting of the door closer the Nm pressure to pull or push the door was reduced drastically to a comfortable amount.

“That’s what I call a proper fire door with a quality closer”  “Shut’s with a click”

Guarantee

CE Certified, DDA compliant, designed with the safety and ease of opening for the end user in mind Rutland Door closers meet and exceed the standards set out and tested by UKAS accredited bodies.  Products carry guarantees, and true to our name we were there when we were needed most. Rutland sells products to suit and understand the situation, not just on price.

Accountability

At Rutland we take responsibility, we are accountable, we look at the finish line and we have customers who care and take an interest in the wellbeing of their clients. We have a sales team, a support team, a technical team, a marketing team, covering the needs and aspirations of many and varied tasks in a day.  But most of all we care for children, the elderly and the people with physical limitations.  We have efficient technical products that work with ease, are guaranteed to care and help you when you need them.

Quality Door controls must be fitted with Quality Instructions – these both come as standard from Rutland.
