EGGER announced as Material Lab’s latest surfacing partner, offering the architect and design industry instant access to its extensive trend led collection.

Based in the famous west end of London, Material Lab is one of the finest design resource studios and material libraries in the UK. Created by leading tile manufacturer, Johnson Tiles, Material Lab specialises in high quality materials and surface coverings.

From January 2019, EGGER will have a dedicated display area showcasing the EGGER Decorative Collection 2017- 2019, and access to facilities for presentations and events. Samples, product literature and swatches will be on display to highlight the breadth and versatility of the collection as well as product quality and features.

EGGER will join some of the biggest global surfacing brands in Material Lab, including Tektura, Dulux Trade, modulyss, Karndean and Flowcrete, providing the A&D industry with the right tools to bring their designs to life.

Open to all, Material Lab allows visitors to immerse themselves in surface coverings and materials of every kind to make sure they can find the perfect finish. Maninder Choda and Ashley Jones from the EGGER Specification team will be based at the studio part-time to meet clients, share the latest trends, provide advice and offer support when choosing EGGER.

The EGGER Decorative Collection 2017 – 2019 comprises 297 decors across woodgrain, uni colour and material finishes. It is a one-stop shop for decorative surfaces providing a cost effective option for almost every interior that does not compromise on finish or performance.

Suitable for both commercial and residential spaces the collection features EGGER’s well known PerfectSense and Feelwood ranges and is available in a wide selection of products including Laminate, MFC (Melamine-Faced Chipboard), MFMDF (Melamine Faced Medium Density Fibre Board), worktops and edging.

EGGER Specification Manager, Maninder Choda, said, “Material Lab is an internationally renowned design hub of expertise and we are delighted to become part of that. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers to the studio to showcase how the EGGER Decorative Collection 2017 – 2019 can help with their projects.”

Nigel Stannard, Commercial Director at Johnson Tiles, said, “Our vision for Material Lab is to bring the world’s most innovative surface designers, manufacturers and brands under one roof – creating a onestop-shop for the A&D community. The addition of EGGER is extremely exciting for us. A global manufacturer with a wealth of expertise and eco credentials, it makes the ideal partner.”
