3-zone cleaning system
The ideal system combination for reducing dirt
The 3-zone cleaning system is a proven combination for effectively reducing dirt, which can be adapted to suit the particular conditions of individual buildings. Shopping centres, schools, day nurseries, public offices and all other buildings with high levels of footfall are particularly well suited to this system. 3-zone cleaning reduces cleaning costs and protects adjacent floor coverings and furnishings. The system features non-slip properties and thus prevents accidents from occurring.
Please note: emco clean-off material is only intended for zone 3 and not as a substitute or replacement for zones 1 and/or 2, since its purpose is principally the uptake of fine and damp dirt.
for coarse dirt – zone 1
The exceptional cleaning power of the emco entrance mat system is ensured by the functional inserts integrated into aluminium profiles. Rubber and/ or cassette-brush inserts are particularly effective at removing coarse dirt in zone 1 of the 3-zone cleaning system. These are robust and weather-proof and can be used both indoors and in unprotected outdoor areas. Furthermore, the insert materials are guaranteed anti-slip.
The system is configured according to the location-specific requirements. The wide range of available mat types, offering different construction heights and material thicknesses, make it possible to provide a personalised solution in terms of dirt-trapping capacity and wear resistance. Systems that are configured for extreme loads can even withstand forklift trucks and vans.
For indoor and covered outdoor areas (fine dirt and moisture – zone 2)
Entrance mats with ribbed carpet inserts integrated into aluminium support chassis are ideal for removing fine dirt in zone 2 of the 3-zone cleaning system. The robust, weather-proof insert material is certified as having non-slip properties according to assessment grade R11 of DIN 51130 and can be used both indoors and in covered outdoor areas. In particularly dirt-prone areas, a combination of ribbed carpet inserts and rubber inserts or ribbed carpet inserts and cassette brushes can be used.
A wide range of mat types means the configuration can be tailored to the specific requirements of the location in question. For a personalised solution in terms of dirt-trapping capacity and wear resistance, there is a choice of five construction heights and two material thicknesses. When the DIPLOMAT and SENATOR versions are used, the cleaning effectiveness can be enhanced through the incorporation of two additional profile elements.
For damp and residual dirt – zone 3
High-quality clean-off floor coverings are intended for use inside the building and have proved to be particularly effective in the third zone of the 3-zone cleaning system. Special hollow fibres pick up moisture and residual dirt particularly efficiently and trap them inside the floor covering. This ensures the lasting prevention of unattractive foot tracks and of dirt particles being carried in by subsequent visitors.
Clean-off systems can be laid both as throw down mats and as a permanent system over larger surfaces. The comprehensive range of colours and patterns makes it possible to create a design that harmonises both with the entrance mat systems in zones 1 and 2 and with the architecture of the building. Preferences with regard to the reproduction of a personalised pattern within an existing corporate identity or corporate architecture can also be satisfied thanks to innovative production technology. The ability to reproduce the entire range of Pantone colours means that company colours and logos can be exactly replicated.
