The Sash Window Workshop were contacted to work on a neo-Georgian property in a Conservation Area in West London.  The project involved upgrading 17 windows and a set of French doors.

The new joinery needed to be double glazed to improve energy efficiency, but otherwise be a replica of the original windows and doors.

Although the doors required complete replacement, most of the window frames were in a good condition.  A quotation was therefore provided for a mixture of new sashes into the existing frames and, for items where the frame had deteriorated, complete replacement.

The customer decided to proceed, and a survey was arranged to confirm the measurements, ensuring that the new windows and doors fitted perfectly.
