Evolving together, for better.

As the UK glazing industry continues to grow, product development is increasingly being driven by regulatory change, greater demand for retrofit schemes and evolving design and architectural needs. For Reynaers Aluminium, innovation isn’t just about launching new products but adapting and refining its existing portfolio to meet evolving design, performance, fabrication and installation requirements.
Reynaers focuses on the continuous evolution of its entire product portfolio, carefully balancing innovation with the ongoing development of existing systems. However, successful product development, system launches and updates are never achieved in isolation. Reynaers’ philosophy is built on innovation through collaboration, bringing together fabricators, installers, architects and developers throughout the process. This approach ensures that customers and its internal teams are part of the journey as its solutions evolve.
Reynaers extensive product testing and comprehensive, independently verified test data were key to the launch of its Vision 7 Thermal Commercial Entrance Door. During the design stage, Reynaers’ technical team worked closely with a number of UK fabricators to gain feedback and insights into what features the market wanted to see built into the door.
During these feedback sessions, the time required to fabricate products emerged as a key consideration. Vision 7 has therefore been designed to simplify and speed up the process. This approach allows fabricators to machine the profile with simple square cuts and screwed connections, helping to reduce fabrication time.
Reynaers continues to innovate and enhance the system to ensure it remains aligned with the evolving requirements of the commercial sector. Vision 7 has since achieved STS202 BR1 and BR2 certification for enhanced security, alongside PAS 24 certification and an EN 12400 Class 8 mechanical durability rating. It also now achieves PAS 24 with concealed panic hardware, for both single and double door configurations. Its most recent development is an access-controlled entrance door solution, also tested to enhanced security standard STS202. Using Maglock technology, this enables controlled or restricted access via PIN or card entry, which makes Vision 7 an ideal solution for ground floor use where restricted access is a must – hospitals, schools, office blocks etc.
Reynaers is widely recognised for its strong commitment to product development and rigorous testing. Even after a product has been successfully launched, the company continues to review, refine and enhance it to ensure it delivers the best possible range of solutions to customers.

Another product that is the result of continuous development and innovation taking place is Reynaers ConceptSystem 77 (CS 77) window, delivering a new outward opening solution to replace its existing CS77 window system. The new CS77 maintains the price and quality while enhancing the features that made the original open-out products so popular.
The versatile design of the new CS 77, available in a variety of aesthetic styles, makes it a solid investment for a diverse range of commercial and light commercial projects where there is a requirement for high durability, security and aesthetic quality at a competitive cost. It has also seen a recent change to its concealed hinge which now offers improved AWW performance, supports up to 180kg weight and provides improved adjustability on 3-axis.
While Reynaers is committed to continued development and system upgrades, there are instances where there is a clear need to develop completely new systems. To meet the demand for sustainable solutions that combine low U-values with reduced embodied carbon, Reynaers launched MasterPatio as a flagship sustainability product that expands on its range of thermally efficient systems – MasterLine 8 and MasterLine 10 – and supports circular design principles. The very latest new product launched in the UK in March 26 is SlimWall 35, which is the UK’s only 35mm curtain wall system to achieve both CWCT testing to sequence B, as well as full ASTM testing. These systems are all designed to deliver exceptional performance, achieving thermal efficiencies that can meet Passive House standards.
Supporting long-term performance and efficiency was the key driver behind Reynaers recent launch of its SlimLine 38 HI+ (SL 38 HI+) window for the UK market. Designed to support specifiers and architects looking for a high-performance system, SL 38 HI+ delivers long-term sustainability and comfort, alongside slim sightlines for a clean, modern aesthetic. The updated window offers the same slender aesthetics, style variants and futureproof design that continues to make this system an essential part of Reynaers product portfolio.
The SlimLine 38 Ultra Slim Door has also recently achieved PAS 24 enhanced security standard, and MasterPatio has seen continued development to offer a broad range of variants, which now in addition to its lift and slide range, includes a slider that conforms to PAS 24 standards, and is also offered as a motorised solution.
The foundation of bringing any new system, product or update to market is testing, which must be considered from the earliest stages of development. Commitment to the highest standards of testing to demonstrate performance is a key part of Reynaers’ ethos. Ongoing support—from design through to installation—is essential to ensuring the success and longevity of projects.
By working closely with designers, specifiers, fabricators and installers, Reynaers can prioritise efficiency while gaining a deeper understanding of their practical requirements. Progress depends on continuous evolution, and stakeholder feedback is central to how Reynaers’ systems are developed to perform effectively in real-world applications.
