HELPING INSTALLERS TO MEET DEMAND FOR SMART BUILDINGS

The ongoing rise in technology and the increasing pressure to meet sustainability targets, has resulted in a growing demand for smart devices. When undergoing a redevelopment or build, it is becoming more common for companies to look for installers that can provide products that will not only save costs but increase the appeal of the building to potential occupants.

At SAVORTEX we have developed a range of energy saving and smart hand dryers that have been designed to transform the washroom market by delivering unrivalled levels of sustainability, energy savings and operational resource savings from the analysis of meaningful data and providing new revenue streams.

EcoCurve 550A

The first product in our range is the EcoCurve™ 550A. It has a sleek sustainable design and a depth of just 134 mm. Using a patented energy recovery and curved air delivery technology, this results in a 66% energy saving compared to any other dryer on the market, with 97% savings when compared to using paper towels. Self-cleaning, with a unique brushless design that promotes sustainability, it delivers a lifespan of 20,000 operational hours and an industry leading seven-year warranty reducing the risk of unexpected maintenance costs.

EcoCurve 550D Smart Eco Dryer

For clients that want the additional benefits of improved building management and labour utilisation, the EcoCurve™ 550D Smart Eco Dryer shares the same features and benefits as the 550A, but also incorporates four additional sensors. This enables the provision of meaningful data regarding live usage and footfall via an online portal. It also facilitates wireless alerts to washroom operatives based on real-time requirements.

In addition, the SAVORTEX Smart Dryer range uses just one third of the energy compared to market leading dryers (such as Dyson), helping clients to meet and maintain ISO14001, a standard relating to environmental management, BREEAM and LEED compliance, and carbon reduction targets. This plays a key part in our goal to help companies cut costs and meet their energy targets within their washroom facilities.

The AdDryer

At the beginning of 2017, we partnered with Intel to launch the revolutionary adDryer™ to complete the EcoCurve™ range. In addition to the benefits of the 550A and 550D, the adDryer is an IoT-enabled smart dryer which includes a digital screen that can deliver tailored, high-definition video messages to users, which can be used for internal marketing or as an additional revenue stream.

A key selling point of this dryer is its ability to analyse data to help building owners and facility managers make significant operational and cost savings. The adDryer alerts cleaners to washroom needs based on actual footfall allowing companies to transform wasteful and costly commercial washrooms into connected, hygienic, and sustainable revenue-producing assets.

In addition, by working with the building owner, we can create an audience value of the estate based on the users of the building, for example gender, age and occupation. The company’s media buyers can then use this information to set and agree a cost per view rate that will be paid to the building owner each time someone uses an adDryer and sees an advert, thus creating revenue.

As the pressure to meet sustainability targets grows and more companies look towards innovative technology for the solution, our EcoCurve range can provide electricians and installers with an industry leading solution giving them a competitive edge in the market place.
