With people spending more time at home, many homeowners are looking to make their home more comfortable by upgrading their windows and doors to be more energy efficient.  The Sash Window Workshop specialise in the replacement and repair of timber windows and doors in period properties.

Since The Sash Window Workshop were founded in 1994, they have worked with a wide variety of homeowners, architects, contractors, designers and developers.  They manufacture all their new windows and doors at their workshops in Berkshire and offer a supply and fit service across London and Southern England, with a supply only service nationwide.

The company’s new joinery is manufactured to improve energy efficiency, while replicating as closely as possible the proportions and designs of historic windows and doors.  They use high specification materials to produce products which combine minimum maintenance with maximum lifespan.

The combination of a high quality product and excellent customer service leads to significant repeat business with roughly half of The Sash Window Workshop’s orders every year coming from previous customers or recommendations.

The company were approached by a homeowner in South West London who was looking to replace several timber windows and doors.  Upon receiving the quotation, the customer arranged a tour of the workshops to see the craftsmanship that goes into the new joinery.

As all the windows and doors that The Sash Window Workshop manufacture are bespoke, they were able to ensure that the replacement windows and doors matched the original designs, retaining the aesthetic look and feel of the property.

Upon completion of the work, the customer commented that the “quality of the work is fabulous and worth every penny”.  They have since placed another order to replace more windows at their property.
