INSINKERATOR® STEAMING HOT WATER TAPS GAIN WRAS APPROVAL

The complete 3N1 steaming hot water tap range from InSinkErator®, the global leader and inventor of food waste disposers and a major player in the steaming hot water tap market, has gained approval from the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS).

A product that has been approved by WRAS confirms that it complies with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and the Scottish Byelaws. The regulations mean that the water fitting will not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contaminate the water supply, and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard’1.

The approval from WRAS demonstrates the commitment of InSinkErator® to compliance and the safety of their consumers, by encouraging the efficient use of water within the home and offering products that prevent the contamination of public water supplies. By achieving WRAS approval, the complete range of InSinkErator® 3N1 steaming hot water taps also meet the necessary regulations of the national water suppliers to be installed into new-build homes. InSinkErator® has also gained approval from WRAS for their hot water tank and filter unit2.

The WRAS approved range of InSinkErator® 3N1 steaming hot water taps safely deliver instant, filtered, steaming hot water up to 98°C, alongside regular hot and cold water, from the same fixture. Approval has been gained on the iconic L Shape 3N1 from InSinkErator®, which is available in a variety of finishes including Anthracite, Brushed Steel, Chrome, plus the exclusive Showroom Collection finished in Brushed Gold and Satin Black. The approval also extends to the InSinkErator® J Shape 3N1 steaming hot water tap, which is available in finishes of Brushed Steel and Chrome and is part of the Showroom Collection.

An InSinkErator® 3N1 steaming hot water tap eliminates the wasted water that results from an overfilled kettle, as the 3N1 only heats the water required. The perfect amount of readily available steaming hot water contributes to the convenience of countless kitchen tasks from cooking to cleaning.

Denise Iordache, Marketing Manager, Europe and Russia, InSinkErator®, says: “We are delighted to receive the approval from the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for our complete range of 3N1 steaming hot water taps, hot water tank and filter unit. The safety of our customers and commitment to reducing waste water in the home will continue to be a priority for InSinkErator®, and by receiving the coveted approval from WRAS, shows our consumers that we are a brand you can trust, boosting our credentials in a competitive marketplace.”
