Julian bowen innovates to impress

Julian bowen is one of the UK’s leading furniture wholesalers. The company is based in Nottingham-shire at the centre of the UK’s transport network, and has been the recipient of numerous industry awards in recent years, in recognition of its broad capabilities and industry leading customer service.

Julian bowen’s ethos is based on a commitment to offer the highest-quality product in the marketplace across the widespread categories, styles and price points at which it sells. This is underpinned by a deep investment in its supply chain over many years, which includes an extensive quality control team in the UK and around the world, plus long-term relationships with specialist manufacturers.

The team at Julian Bowen is focused on a constant programme of innovation which has resulted in significant growth in the number of ranges offered by the company in recent years, while an extensive new product pipeline is under development to ensure even greater choice for customers and a solid platform for sustainable growth.

Recent newness has been well received in the marketplace. The Brooklyn living and dining range, which combines solid oak with a gunmetal finish is accompanied by a range of industrial style chairs and a bench and has proved particularly popular with extensions to the range already in development.

The success of the company’s existing Richmond dining collection, finished in dove grey has been followed with the same range now presented in a striking midnight blue, providing an eye-catching accompaniment to immaculate pale oak tops to create a range that sits equally well with traditional and contemporary decor.

Julian Bowen’s accomplished upholstery offering also continues to grow. The stylish new Hayward sofa range exudes quality, combining strong craftsmanship with a timeless design in a soft, tactile grey velvet, while the Mila accent chair hits a smart contemporary note, combining a metal frame with a sleek, modern shape, and presented in a choice of velvet in classic grey or non-trend teal.

Children’s furniture is an acknowledged strength of the business and a significant focus for the in-house design team. its latest offerings are off to a strong start in the marketplace, with the jupiter mid-sleeper, offered in both pure white and grey oak finishes, performing notably well and consumers warning to its combination of functionality and crisp styling.

The company is particularly excited about current developments in its kids range and will unveil a number of innovative products in the coming months.
