Lakes Bathrooms expands the Coastline

Shower specialist Lakes Bathrooms has just expanded its Coastline Collection of 8mm walk-in enclosures, adding 24 new sizes to extend the range.  According to the manufacturer, the Coastline Collection of shower enclosures has proven so popular that new sizes have been added to each style to maximise consumer choice.  The entire Collection has almost doubled and now includes 46 designs and sizes, all suitable for wet room installation or in combination with a shower tray.

“We recognised the growing demand for heavier weight glass with this type of product and we know that buyers expect top quality at very competitive prices,” said sales and marketing director at Lakes Bathrooms, Clive Organ.  “With the Coastline Collection we aim to deliver not only luxury, designer style, but at an affordable price – all backed by our market-leading service and support for the trade.  We were optimistic that the Coastline Collection would prove popular, but we have been completely overwhelmed by the demand for this 8mm collection and so have added 24 new sizes to dramatically expand the range.”

The Coastline look is confident, sleek, minimalist and contemporary, with all the 8mm enclosures coming with a lifetime guarantee*.  According to Lakes Bathrooms, the range is designed to look stunning and be straightforward to fit, with discreet, silicon-free profiling providing for a high level of adjustability.

Suitable for a range of situations, the two metre high enclosures are designed to fit with low profile tray mounting or in a wet room environment. The various styles work in alcove, corner, straight wall-mounted and free-standing situations.  In making the update to the range, Lakes Bathrooms has also simplified part number coding to make it easy to identify interchangeable elements, such as the shower screen of ‘Cannes’ which makes the ideal side panel for other models.

Products in the Walk-in range carry names inspired by the beautiful coastlines of the world and include Cannes, Riviera, Nice, Palma, Andora, Rhodes and Marseilles.  The concept, says Lakes Bathrooms, is for the enclosures to reflect the freedom and space of these highly desirable locations.

Explaining the inclusion of stay-clean AllClear® treatment in the price for the Coastline Collection, Clive Organ commented, “This collection is led by the beauty and simplicity of the glass when formed into various designs.  The clarity and quality of the appearance of the glass is paramount, so AllClear treatment is applied to help the enclosure to retain its crystal showroom finish.  This not only saves on cleaning effort and expense, but also supports improved hygiene and minimizes environmental impact for real eco appeal.”

Retail prices for the 8mm Walk-in range in the Coastline Collection start from £263 plus VAT. The new enclosures are now shipping on the company’s normal 24-48 hour delivery.
