LiteIP

LiteIP are ‘illuminating’ the way for lighting controls systems with their wireless controls. A perfect system for landlords, social housing, car parks and communal areas in addition to industrial, commercial and retail premises.

They have found that the requirement for lighting controls comes from many different sources. Though mainly Building Control Regulations and Environmental Standards but there is also a growing desire to save both energy and money.

The increasing need for Emergency Lighting tests to run automatically and generate reports has led to them developing a system that no longer requires a site visit to manually record this data.

Their controls are standalone or cloud-based that can be incorporated into new luminaires or retrofitted to existing luminaires and use a simple GUI tablet app for the commissioning. Offering all the benefits of DALI without any of the cost and hassle. The core system is based on every luminaire having a wireless controller and a presence sensor with the only connections to the luminaires being Live, Neutral and Earth. This includes the emergency luminaires which no longer need a separate switched live.

That’s it!

No need for remote sensors, lighting control modules or a head- end PC onsite.

There is the additional option to have cloud monitoring by linking the system to the internet with the installation of a LiteIP Collator. This then allows access to an online portal which can be used to monitor and control emergency lighting, energy usage, occupancy heatmapping and alerts for maintenance.

LiteIP Systems have installed their controls in over 1,500 sites across the UK and Northern Europe. Several of these have more than 5,000 luminaires operating in a single building. Their direct clients are Luminaire Manufacturers and System Integrators whilst their end-user clients are blue-chip.
