The new 1,800 sq m Aerospace Technology Centre at Nottingham University provides a dedicated research and information exchange facility within the Institute for Aerospace Technology.

It also provides a showcase for RigiSystems Ziplok standing seam profile with MicroZink finish in a roof to wall application which perfectly complements the space age nature of the project. MicroZink provides all the performance benefits of aluminium with the aesthetic appeal of a traditional zinc roof. The coating even changes colour and gloss over time in almost exactly the same way as pure zinc, yet in all other respects the profiles behave in the same way as standard aluminium.

Architect was William Saunders, and the roofing was installed by Britannia Site Solutions.
