Following the recent acquisition of EOS Facades by leading dry construction solutions company Siniat, the EOS team are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a series of CPD Factory Tour events in September 2016.
Celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, EOS Facades is a leading innovator in light gauge steel construction, specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of a wide range of steel solutions for the Steel Framing Systems (SFS) and offsite markets.
WHEN AND WHERE:
These unique CPD Factory Tour and Seminar sessions will be held at the EOS Facades manufacturing facility in County Durham. There are three session times to choose from:
28 September 2016 – 1.00pm-4.00pm
29 September 2016 – 9.00am-12.00pm OR 1.00pm-4.00pm
Hosted by the EOS Technical Team together with the Siniat specification team, the tours are completely FREE OF CHARGE and will include complimentary refreshments throughout the event.
The tours will include a demonstration by the estimating team of how the EOS ‘lump sum’ quote is generated, demonstration of EOS’ design software, followed by a tour of the factory demonstrating the new Howick FRAMA machine plus quality control, labelling, floor coding and traceability processes rounding off with EOS / Siniat external through wall system types and samples of the finished EOS product.
The topics covered in the CPD presentation will include:
– Cold Formed Section technology
– SFS Infill Systems, stud & track, offsite pre-assembled panels/cassettes
– Non-loadbearing & loadbearing solutions
-Lattice joists & floor cassettes
-Design & value engineering
– Examples of best practice technology applications
