Unique Surface For Student Halls

Liberty Living’s Liverpool-based student accommodation, Prospect Point, has recently undergone extensive renovations, which saw Max-Top Quartz surfaces installed in 100 of its kitchens in just six weeks. Student accommodation specialists, Project:FF&E, managed the project and selected Max-Top’s Diamond White Sparkle worktop for all communal kitchen areas within the halls due to its style and long-lasting 25 year guarantee.

Neil Dimmock, bid director of Project:FF&E, commented: “Max-Top Quartz came highly recommended by the client, who installed the surfaces in a similar project earlier in the year at one of its Manchester-based sites.

“With this type of project it is important to consider product fulfilment. We placed a high volume order, and Max-Top Quartz were able to supply the number of units within a very short period of time. Very impressive!”

Max-Top Quartz is a unique product in the surface market and is available to buy off the shelf. Thanks to its patented interior honeycomb structure it has the desired appearance of solid stone, but with the advantage of an increased 40mm thickness.

Stephen Moss, managing director of Max-Top, added: “Strength and durability are both vital within student accommodation and thanks to our unique surfaces we are continually striking up new relationships with providers in this sector.

“Our modular quartz surfaces are lightweight, and installation takes next to no time. This can be extremely helpful when taking on large-scale renovations like this.”

Neil Dimmock concludes: “The durability and expected lifecycle of this product offered the solution that was essential for a busy kitchen environment that is going to experience heavy usage and footfall. Needless to say, the client is very happy with the final product.”
