Wooduchoose set to revolutionise wood industry with pioneering website

A Devon-based joinery company is revolutionising the woodworking industry with the launch of a pioneering online service with a very simple concept – customers have instant access to any product they want in any type of timber.

At the heart of the Wooduchoose service is a vast database of quality timber products that buyers can tailor to their individual needs and specifications, making the brand the ultimate in bespoke timber and moulding solutions.

It has a particular focus on architects and designers too, helping them to save time and money via free CAD drawing (DWG) downloads of all the products available. It is also aimed at builders and developers, as well as homes owners and will connect its customers to a choice of manufacturers/suppliers across the UK.

From skirting, architrave, dado rails, coving  and beading to cladding, decking, and tongue and groove boarding and much more,  customers can choose whatever particular product they need in whatever type of wood they want it in – even matching it in to existing mouldings they may have.

Paul Hayman MCIOB, Director of Wooduchoose, said that while the concept of selling timber products online isn’t necessarily new, there are a number of factors that make Wooduchoose unique – not least the free DWG download tool for architects and designers.

“Currently there is nowhere else in the UK where you can buy all products online in the wood of your choice and where custom products are priced instantly. It is part of what makes Wooduchoose truly unique and innovative,” said Paul.

“Quite simply, we have a passion for wood and everything about it. Until now people who share our passion for bespoke timber products have not been able to access them easily via the internet. Wooduchoose changes that”

Wooduchoose has been fully optimised to enable customers to select their purchase via product category, how the timber will be used or even by historical period.

Having chosen the product category, the actual product they want, the material they require  it in and their exact quantity/measurements , the site then searches its  database of the top manufacturers in the UK, for the best prices currently available. Finally, customers can choose the supplier based on price, location or delivery method – again, whichever suits their specific requirements.
