May Design Series to bring back coveted \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tags at next month\u2019s event<\/i><\/p>\n
May Design Series, the UK\u2019s definitive furnishings fair, is delighted to announce that it will be reintroducing its popular \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tags for a second year.<\/p>\n
Standing for design excellence, new ideas and game-changing technologies, the \u2018DX Loves\u2019 initiative will see 25 of the best designed products at the show awarded an exclusive swing tag. This tag will then be displayed on their stand for the duration of the show, in order to clearly highlight the winning products to visitors. The accolade will be awarded to a total of 25 products, spanning all five sectors of the show: DX, Decor, Lighting, Kitchen + Bathroom and The Furniture Show.<\/p>\n
The winners of \u2018DX Loves\u2019 will be judged and awarded by May Design Series\u2019 very own Web Editor, design guru Ola Bednarczuk on the opening morning of the show.<\/p>\n
The \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tags were introduced at the first edition of May Design Series last year, and proved a hit with exhibitors and visitors alike. Previous winners of a \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tag include Abode, Timorous Beasties, Deadgood, iGuzzini <\/b>and Badgers of Bohemia. <\/b><\/p>\n
Also a winner in 2013 was Spanish kitchen specialist Doca UK<\/b>, which was awarded a \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tag for its \u2018Contemporary Classic\u2019 concealed design range of kitchen furniture. Sara Wells, Sales & Business Development Manager at Doca UK, commented: \u201cWhen it comes to the evolution of design and technology, DX is an ideal platform\u00a0to perfectly demonstrate how to\u00a0furnish\u00a0both interior and exterior\u00a0spaces. To be awarded a \u2018DX Loves\u2019 tag at last year\u2019s May Design Series was a great achievement for Doca, giving just endorsement that\u00a0we as a\u00a0brand\u00a0continue to sit\u00a0at the forefront of design excellence. Being able to clearly show visitors that we were one of the few exhibitors selected to receive this accolade for our design ability alone\u00a0was a great talking point for us, and we hope to be able to do it again this year with the help of four new products on display\u201d.<\/p>\n
All exhibitors are automatically entered into the running to be awarded a tag, and Ola will make her selection on the opening day of the show. DX is the ideas and innovation-led hub of the May Design Series, created to get people thinking and talking about the future of interior spaces, so the DX Loves tags are a way for us to highlight the products that best reflect this ethos.
