Recently, Eurobrick has been working with online platforms to provide better quality digital content for people working with their systems.\u00a0\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Eurobrick already offer a number of digital downloads on their own website, including technical drawings, product and installation guides as well as relevant certification required for many specifiers during the planning process. In addition to this they have now updated their offering through Bimstore and FastrackCAD, to help architects and specifiers further.<\/p>\n<p>The online information library Bimstore offers BIM information to those in the construction industry. BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a collaborative approach to projects that uses digital technologies to make planning projects more efficient and give greater clarity and detail for the building as a whole. BIM allows you to embed asset data along with a 3-dimensional model into plans to help manage and maintain assets through the project lifecycle. BIM is now the required standard for many local authorities and is used by most major construction companies.<\/p>\n<p>Eurobrick\u2019s information on Bimstore allows users to input 3 dimensional models of their P-Clad and X-Clad systems. The BIM details will allow users to produce 3D project installation details and from these generate system quantities required. This information can then be sent to Eurobrick so they can provide an accurate estimate for the project. From the 3D models of their building, users can generate photo realistic visuals using any of the available ranges of brick and stone blends to get a clearer idea of how the final project would look. These are simplified 2 dimensional versions of Eurobrick\u2019s standard detail drawings, which can be input into working drawings to save time during the planning phase.
