New Model in Technology and Engineering (NMiTE) the proposed Higher Education Institution, has put out a call to architects and designers, including local firms in Herefordshire, around its competition to help create the designs for three new buildings on the Skylon site.<\/p>\n

Deadline for expression of interest is Thursday 5th December and for designs is 20th December 2019. <\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>The successful company will join the NMiTE Skylon Campus team and have a budget of \u00a310,000 to help develop a scheme to facilitate pre application discussion and the submission of an early planning application through the (LDO) Local Development Order Process. \u00a0This stage will also provide enough information to allow NMiTE to progress with the procurement process for detailed designs and project delivery.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019d be delighted to hear from local architects and designers who will then generate the design for the tender process. Key requirements from NMiTE are that companies should have experience with educational sites and timber technology\u201d\u00a0says Toby Kinnaird, Head of Partnerships at NMiTE.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
