The judges singled out the company for the high quality of workmanship and technical capabilities on the roof at Deer Park Heights in Livingston. This was a highly intricate feature roof that required a large amount of cutting of the grey interlocking concrete roof slates on the numerous hips, valleys and turrets.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Marley Contract Services was appointed by Muir Homes to fit the slate grey concrete tiles on the luxury development of apartments and penthouses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was an intricate roof that required a high level of skill to cut and shape the interlocking slates around the many and varied features,\u201d said Stephen Forbes, Senior Contracts Manager at Marley Contract Services. \u201cWe are delighted to have won this category as we always strive to be at the forefront of quality and performance which, for us, is absolute key on all our projects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NFRC Scottish roofing awards celebrate and recognise outstanding industry achievements. Marley Contract Services was singled out as the outright winner from a large number of building projects submitted from across Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>Ray Horwood CBE, Chief Executive of NFRC, said: \u201cWe&#8217;d like to congratulate Marley Contract Services on winning the Roof Tiling category.\u00a0 The company was up against some strong competition, although the intricate nature of this roof design and the level of workmanship were just some of the factors singled out by the judging panel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marley Contract Services is able to act as principal or sub contractor on a wide range of projects.
