Pickerings Lifts, the UK\u2019s largest independent lift manufacturer, has\u00a0added a new business stream to its comprehensive portfolio with the\u00a0introduction of Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services.<\/p>\n
Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services, registered with Gas Safe\u00a0and REFCOM, will specialise in the supply, installation, service and\u00a0maintenance of a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning\u00a0products. The launch of Heating & Cooling Services will offer Pickerings\u00a0Lifts\u2019 customers an even wider range of specialist services in essence\u00a0creating a \u2018one stop shop\u2019 for all their service and maintenance\u00a0requirements.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the launch of the new business stream Pickerings Lifts\u2019\u00a0customer service director, Lynn Humble, said: \u201cThe launch of Pickerings\u00a0Lifts Heating & Cooling Services was a natural progression for the\u00a0company and will allow us to provide an even better service for our\u00a0customers. Although the lift and HVAC industries are two totally\u00a0different disciplines, there are many similarities in the target\u00a0customer base including the NHS, retail, education, hospitality and\u00a0leisure. One particularly good example of this synergy is the care home\u00a0sector where heating, lifts and mobility are all considered to be of the\u00a0highest priority.\u201d<\/p>\n
Initially the core focus of Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services\u00a0will be within the North West and North Wales regions, however the\u00a0business has already acquired a number of national contracts and plans\u00a0are in place for the division to expand its reach across the whole of\u00a0the UK.<\/p>\n
Pickerings Lifts has set itself an ambitious growth target for the\u00a0Heating & Cooling Services business with the aim of doubling its work\u00a0force within the next 18 months.<\/p>\n
Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services is headed up by operations\u00a0manager Gareth Chappells who has 15 years\u2019 experience in the HVAC\u00a0industry.<\/p>\n
Gareth said: \u201cAs a registered HVAC contractor we are keen to lead the\u00a0way in delivering high quality products which make a significant\u00a0contribution to building a sustainable future. Our priorities are\u00a0delivering service and maintenance regimes which improve economy and\u00a0performance, reduce downtime and increase the overall lifespan of\u00a0equipment. Pickerings Lifts Heating & Cooling Services will also provide specialist\u00a0support to the evolving heat pump market, including the gas fired and\u00a0renewable source driven absorption heat pump which has ultra-high\u00a0operating efficiencies of almost 40% more than conventional boilers and\u00a0a low environmental impact.<\/p>\n
