The DEROS is designed to deliver a rapid, efficient, consistently\u00a0powerful performance comparable to a conventional 500W electric machine,\u00a0even under heavy load.\u00a0 It is economical to use, reducing energy costs.\u00a0This low-maintenance, extremely reliable sander has a long lifespan and\u00a0features a \u2018closed construction\u2019 preventing dust from entering the\u00a0motor, avoiding typical wear and tear damage experienced by electric\u00a0machines.<\/p>\n
The DEROS has a low profile so the hand is close to the vertical\u00a0surface, delivering good control over the sanding process.\u00a0 Its long\u00a0body encompasses a two-hand, ergonomic grip, effective for heavy sanding\u00a0applications.\u00a0 It has low noise and vibration levels, reducing arm\u00a0fatigue and minimising the risk of Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome.<\/p>\n
Its innovative features also include a soft start function, a built-in\u00a0electronic motor brake and a smooth, easy to operate level to control\u00a0and maintain a constant motor speed.\u00a0 A new backing pad brake acts like\u00a0a seal minimising air leakage between the pad and the shroud, and making\u00a0dust extraction more efficient. This is particularly important due to\u00a0the increasing levels of dust associated with some woods and the\u00a0potential additional work created by extraneous particles during the\u00a0painting process.\u00a0 In addition, its power cord is removable and\u00a0interchangeable.<\/p>\n
