Aero-Therm – Using Micro-Technology To Create Up To 35% Energy Savings From A 1mm Internal Wall Coating

Ultra Thin Insulation

Improving the energy performance of the 8 million solid wall properties in the UK has until now been a slow and costly process due to the practical and disruptive requirements of conventional insulation methods. Aero-Therm takes a new cutting edge approach to insulation and using advanced techniques to combine hollow glass microspheres and aerogel, has created a quick, simple and effective solution to provide the next generation of insulation.

With only a 1mm coating applied to the internal surface, Aero-Therm quickly absorbs radiant heat, warming the surface of the walls to room temperature, then emitting excess heat back into the room, creating “thermal comfort”. The quicker warm up times, longer cool down times and more balanced room temperature, allows the heating system to reduce its output, providing significant energy savings. A further benefit of creating warm walls is a much reduced risk of condensation and mould.

Domestic and commercial property owners in the UK can now take advantage of Aero-Therm and join the growing list of happy customers.

Testimonials

“Having spent years searching at numerous Ecobuild Exhibitions, for an insulation product designed for solid wall homes, that didn’t ruin the appearance of a period property, I was fortunate to stumble upon Aero-Therm. To think that a product only 1mm thick, can perform at the level it does, for me really turns the rest of the traditional insulation market on its head. I have to say unlike many products on the market that make bold claims, this product actually works!”

Paul Tolley, Nottingham

“We specified and installed radiant underfloor heating combined with a heat pump. Based on my heat loss calculations a back up heating system was necessary in this property. However throughout the last winter with the installation of Aero-Therm, the property did not need its backup system and the operating temperature of the system was reduced below expectations.”

Michael Hoe, Forde Group – Installer of Heat Pumps

Living in a 1930s stone built house in the Peak District National Park – our insulation options were limited to internal solutions. AeroTherm installation complete, our walls now look identical to how they looked previously but we could instantly feel the difference, both to touch and when standing next to a wall: cold eliminated! The overall effect is a much more comfortable feel in each room.

Claire De La Haye, Derbyshire

Aero-Therm is available through trained and accredited applicators offering the full system installation. To discuss the product in more detail or if you would like free sample, contact our office on 01924 848020 or email info@aerotherm.co.com
