Offering the best in British furniture and furnishings, the all-new January Furniture Show is the place to be for buyers and commercial specifiers who are looking for the latest products and developments in the UK contract and interior design market.

With a fantastic line-up of exhibitors – with specialists in the hotel, restaurant and contract markets – the three-day show runs from Tuesday January 13 until Thursday January 15 across five packed halls at Birmingham NEC.

Said Laraine Janes, co-director of the January Furniture Show: “For those who have a business in the hospitality market, this show provides the ideal platform to showcase products. It’s the first opportunity of the season to see a selection of the very latest new and exclusive products.”

Many of the companies showing have their own contract divisions serving the hotel, restaurant and contract markets and several will have their design teams present on the stands to discuss any upcoming projects.

Here’s a taster of who you can expect to see at this year’s show.

Duresta Upholstery will be launching new pieces at the January Furniture Show aimed at the high end contract sector. Duresta has a full understanding of, and decades of experience in meeting, the requirements of specifiers, designers and architects and its furniture can be found in the best hotels and luxury homes throughout the world.

The Hestia range from Furmanac is a collection of luxurious mattresses and divans, made using traditional methods and the latest fillings, materials and fabrics that can be upgraded to Crib 5 for the contract market. Manufactured in its Midlands factory, it is confident of its quality that it offers a full five year manufacturers’ guarantee on these products.

Long Eaton-based luxury upholstery manufacturer Gascoigne Designs offers a bespoke service to designer and retail accounts and Harlequin’s Leonida velvets on its famous ‘top of the range’ Bellagio Knole sofa are proving a success. It will also show its Manhattan and Savannah designs as well as wood designs Victoria and Florence in new fabrics plus new contemporary design – Fifth Avenue.

Greenapple has a worldwide reputation for excellence for the craftsmanship of its innovative range of handmade glass furniture. The Magic rotating coffee table currently graces the interior of the very best hotels.

Willis & Gambier’s contract division specialises in the design and production of furniture, predominantly for the hospitality industry. Its in-house design team can create furniture to enhance your project and produces full colour visuals and CAD drawings through to product development and full mock ups. Alternatively pick from the portfolio of bedroom and dining ranges, which are held in stock in its purpose built distribution centre in Peterborough for a quick delivery.

Inspired by some of the finest traditional French designs, Winsor’s Abella Collection features a paint finish in a choice of contemporary colours complemented by stylish fittings and close attention to detail. Classic design elements are further enhanced by optional protective toughened glass tops allowing Abella to sit comfortably in both contract as well as domestic settings.

The January Furniture Show 2015 will run midweek from Tuesday January 13 to Thursday 15 and be located in Halls 1-3 and The Pavilion. The 2016 show will run for three days from Sunday 24 – Tuesday 26 January.
