FIBO EXPANDS ITS NEW URBAN COLLECTIO

Leading waterproof wall panel manufacturer, Fibo, has added two new designs to its Urban Collection. Reflecting the latest interior trends, the Herringbone and Hexagonal designs join the popular Metro Brick, which was launched last year. The versatile collection now offers greater possibilities for creating contemporary bathrooms and kitchens, without compromising on ease of installation, maintenance and performance.

Inspired by the patterns and architectural features found within cities, Fibo’s Urban Collection consists of designs that are softer than traditional industrial styles, yet still embrace the urban aesthetic.

The traditional herringbone pattern has made a big comeback in recent years. As such, Fibo has launched its new versatile and timeless Herringbone design which will allow specifiers and installers to add character to a bathroom or kitchen.

Fibo has also launched a new Hexagonal design, which features a playful pattern of geometric shapes – perfect for those wanting to create a bolder statement.

Both of the new designs are available in a choice of three decors: London, which is a high gloss, warm grey shade; White Silk, a clean, white colourway; and the brand-new Black Silk, which provides a dark and dramatic silky finish. Black Silk is now also available in the Metro Brick design found within the Urban Collection, which mimics the effect of staggered 30x10cm brickwork reminiscent of art deco underground stations in the 19th Century.

Nicola Lewis, Marketing Manager at Fibo, commented: “Following the reaction that we’ve had to the Urban Collection and the success of the Metro Brick design since its launch, we are excited to be expanding the range and bringing fresh ideas and concepts to our customers in line with the latest interior trends.

“The beauty of these designs is that they offer the appearance and realism of grout lines, thanks to our unique routering method, but without the regular upkeep that grout usually requires in order to prevent it from becoming worn, stained and unhygienic. Waterproof wall panels are also significantly easier to clean and maintain, and when fitted together, the panels have a virtually invisible joint, making them a beautiful and practical alternative to tiles in bathrooms and kitchens.”

Fibo wall panels are manufactured with a high-pressure laminate surface, bonded to a specially developed 9mm seven-layer plywood core, and an enhanced moisture barrier on the reverse. The panels are 2400mm high and 600mm wide and can be installed quickly thanks to the company’s Aqualock ‘click’ system.

All of the designs in the Urban Collection also come with Fibo’s market-leading 25-year warranty, providing peace of mind to customers that the wall panels are watertight, robust and will retain their fresh appearance for many years to come.
