First Fully Closed Panel rendered in the Frame UK factory delivered to site in Guernsey

For the shell of this building in the Channel Islands, not only did the fully closed panel units feature fitted windows and doors, but they were also fully rendered at our state-of-the-art factory. In this controlled environment, our customers are assured of the best quality available – using a closed panel system that has a U-Value as low as 0.12, coupled with outstanding airtight properties.

This enabled us to deliver another project to the most exacting standards, yet on-time and on-budget.

A leader in Modern Methods of Construction, speed of production has enabled us to deliver more than 5000 closed panel units to date, incorporating factory-fitted windows and installation of fully cut roofs.

SUPERSTRUCTURE SUPPLY

With one of the largest fully automated timber manufacturing plants in the country, Frame UK specialise in the details and manufacture of cost-effective buildings. All products are thermally efficient, ecologically sustainable, and quality-controlled to a high specification including standard wall panels of varying thickness as well as fully insulated closed panels. Incorporated within our factory are a Roof Truss and Metal Web Joist Plant, giving Frame UK the unique benefit of being in the enviable position of supplying a complete Timber Frame package, quality controlled to a high specification.

Frame UK have already reacted to the increase in demand for sustainable, off-site construction, by relocating to larger premises. They now have one of the largest, fully-automated closed panel construction facilities in the UK. Through speed of production, Frame UK is now one of the largest manufacturers of closed panel units in the country, with over 5000 delivered to date.

Our standard 140mm closed-panel construction gives a 20% advantage in ’U’ values over existing minimum building regulation requirements, and is technically endorsed by NHBC and Zurich. Higher performance specifications can also be provided to comply with the demand for increases in ‘Ecohomes’ ratings. We have recently completed a development where zero heating was achieved.

The programme provides a fast track solution: from design freeze to site delivery is 60 days and combined with a 2 day on site erection period to water tightness, plus three weeks to handover after groundwork.
