Giving doors a clear edge

Edge-casting resins made of polyurethane from RAMPF
In order to extend the service life of doors and furniture and to reduce maintenance costs, RAMPF Polymer Solutions has developed edge-casting resins made of polyurethane. RAKU-PUR® casting resins are used in domestic doors and furniture, contract doors and furniture for hospitals, schools, and day care centers, laboratory furniture, and public transport vehicles.
The casting resins offer impressively high impact resistance, high mechanical and chemical resistance, low water absorption, exceptional flow properties, and good adhesion to wood, compressed wood, and HPL. They can be mixed with coloring pastes according to the customer’s wishes. The portfolio also includes flame-retardant systems.
All RAKU-PUR® casting resins contain light-protection additives and UV stabilizers. RAMPF can supply casting resin systems with varying light resistance, including lightfast systems for outdoor applications that meet the highest light-resistance standards, to suit a wide range of door and furniture requirements.
Casting resins made of polyurethane provide effective and durable protection for the edges of doors.
