Impey Showers Launch Radiate

Wetroom installation now achievable on unbreachable floors
with innovative new product

Wetroom specialist, Impey, has solved the problem of installing a wetroom where there is an un-breachable floor by developing an innovative new shower tray called Radiate.
Developed with the care professional in mind and for the end user who has restricted mobility, Radiate is just 40mm high and allows easy shower access.

The Radiate tray can be fitted with any of Impey’s market leading lifting, folding and sliding shower door sets which provide easy access and are easy to clean. A range of compatible ramps for the tray are available to make it fully accessible.

Radiate has been specifically designed for use with pumped waste options. The waste fitting is concealed to the underside of the tray ensuring that any water draining to the gulley is quickly fed to the waste pump. The waste reservoir is covered which reduces unpleasant smells and visible water pooling. The covered waste reservoir has been acoustically tuned to eliminate the noise associated with draining water.

The Radiate is fully compatible with pumped waste options including Impey’s SWP, Instant Match and Smoothflow.

Impey has incorporated a unique, water-channelling tread pattern into the Radiate which provides a slip resistant, surface, classified to DIN class ‘B’ on slip resistance.

Neil Whitehead from Impey Showers, said: “Radiate offers the ultimate versatility in a modern shower tray. Tested to the highest European slip resistant standards, the Radiate sets a new level of care and design.”

The Radiate tray is available in seven sizes including 1200mm x 700mm, 1200mm x 900mm, 1300mm x 700mm, 1400mm x 700mm, 1400mm x 900mm, 1500mm x 700mm, 1000mm x 1000mm.

Hand finished in robust glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), the Radiate can support up to 250kg (40 stone).
