Moduleo seals the deal for Solas

Ireland’s brand-new further education and training authority, Solas, has upgraded its state-of-the-art facilities in Dublin, opting for Moduleo flooring as a result of its outstanding features. The luxury vinyl flooring manufacturer’s Verdon Oak 24870  was chosen for the staff restaurant and break-out areas; with the designers citing its timeless style, together with the fact it’s easy-to-clean, durable and scuff-resistant; as the big selling point.

Ray O’Connor of Moduleo’s Irish agents ROC Agencies, who worked alongside RKD Architects on the project, comments: “Hygiene was imperative for the Solas project, but we didn’t want to compromise on quality and luxury; and after looking at all of our options Moduleo was the unanimous choice.

“As we opted for Click installation, the flooring was incredibly easy to fit, and didn’t require any timely preparation beforehand. What’s more, it comes with a 20 year guarantee so the customers get the peace-of-mind that their flooring is of the finest quality and will last – particularly in areas, like this, which experience such high levels of footfall.”

The Verdon Oak 24870 flooring is from Moduleo’s Transform range which features a hard-wearing top layer; making it particularly ideal for commercial use.

David Bigland, managing director at Moduleo UK and Eire explains: “Our Transform flooring has been a real success in commercial environments, particularly in spaces such as restaurants or hotels, where hygiene is paramount.

“We’re delighted that such a fantastic new facility is benefitting from our designs, and the finished product looks sensational.”

Moduleo produces a diverse range of vinyl floor tiles in a large selection of colours and finishes. Moduleo products are available in both a traditional LVT construction and a simple-to-install Click system which offers added flexibility.

Ray concludes: “All parties involved in the Solas project are extremely pleased with the quality of finish of the Moduleo flooring – and we would definitely recommend it for any commercial environment.”
