Cities are becoming smarter and so is Street Furniture, this is why ESF have a strong product offering to cater to these ever-growing Smart cities, these exciting products include Street Charge and the Street Tidy.

Street Charge is the brand new and exciting solar powered, outdoor, mobile phone charging station, originally designed in the USA, and now available worldwide through Environmental Street Furniture. The Street Charge concept is simple, it uses the sun’s rays to charge the internal batteries which in turn allow clients, customers and public to charge all makes of mobile phones or tablets at the same speed as a wall socket. This is a fantastic product to compliment free Wi-Fi now being made available in outdoor cafes, town and city centres, plazas, city parks, outlets malls, and shopping centres to name a few. It is also ideal for seasonal events such as music festivals, carnivals, fun fairs, maritime festivals and anywhere people need to charge their smart phones or tablets.

The ESF Street Tidy is a solar powered outdoor stainless steel (Grade 304) sectional litter bin. Integrating solar energy and smart sensors allows the infrared sensors to detect movement and illuminate the aperture lights when someone approaches in the hours of darkness. Not only making it convenient for people but also making the adverts or directions more striking as well. The solar panels store energy allowing just 7 hours of sunlight to provide energy for a full week. The lifetime of the solar panel is more than 20 years and there is space for four adverts around the bin which can be easily changed as required and integrated street furniture using solar technology.

Based in the UK, and drawing on over 50 years of experience in exterior furnishings and lighting supply, ESF offer design and manufacturing capacity, from concept to completion, for all types and sizes of themed projects. ESF have a product offering that includes bollards, benches, litter bins, tree grates, planters, shelters, cycle parking and much more. We offer special materials for external harsh environments such as water parks and theme parks using innovative manufacturing. Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai, National Theatre in London, Belfast Museum and Belfast Zoo are just some of the experience projects we have supplied recently.
