Rap Interiors Wins 2021 UK Enterprise Award

Kent workplace design and build company Rap Interiors is proud to announce it has won an award for Best Commercial and Public Fit-Out Contractor in 2021.

The accolade, courtesy of SME News, is recognition for getting the business back on track during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also affirms Rap Interiors as being a leading company in its field, which the Rap team is of course delighted to hear!

SME launched its flagship awards programme in 2017 to celebrate the success stories of the most important sectors in the UK economy. Rap Interiors was recognised in the UK Enterprise category, which encompasses a multitude of exciting and vibrant businesses and industries from all over the nation.

Julie Anderson, Rap Interiors Design Director, explains that this latest success is all down to having the right people on board: “We all live and breathe creativity and efficiency, so to be awarded this accolade has made the last very difficult year worth it. We proudly receive this award knowing that we do what we say and that this has been recognised.”

Rap Interiors has enjoyed a busy summer, with a number of exciting projects taking place. In Eastbourne, Rap designed and built a vibrant new Pearl’s Bubble Tea shop in The Beacon shopping centre, which is already proving popular amongst the young people in town. In Kent, Rap was proud to work with award-winning property developer Chartway, which required a new reception and boardroom. A key feature of the design is a visually arresting moss wall behind the new reception desk, which makes for a great first impression!

The Rap team has also been busy working on a number of school projects. One particular highlight was Walthamstow Academy in London, who contacted Rap Interiors for a second time to refurbish a set of washrooms. The stunning new design features eight new toilets and a sleek grey colour scheme for a modern, practical design.

To echo Julie’s comment, Rap Interiors’ new award and busy schedule shows that a talented team is the key to success. And with more projects currently taking place, there will be plenty more to shout about in the coming months.
