Maximum performance from Inceptor LED downlights

Scolmore Group’s innovative Inceptor range of integrated LED downlights delivers high performance, low energy lighting solutions across a range of applications.

Inceptor Micro and Inceptor Max are fire-rated, integrated LED downlights with a high-powered, compact, pre-wired driver and flow connector.

The compact size of the driver means they can be fitted into very shallow recess depths – Inceptor Max at 61mm and Inceptor Micro at 50mm – making them some of the most flexible fittings currently available.

Scolmore has integrated its popular Flow Connectors, which means they are quick and easy to install as well as to remove and replace for the purpose of circuit testing and for retrofits. The downlights also incorporate Scolmore’s award-winning FlameGuard® system technology, offer a 30, 60 & 90-minute fire rating and are acoustic and airflow compliant.  They are both available in dimmable and non-dimmable options

Inceptor Micro includes a choice of Fixed and Adjustable Bezels to offer a degree of flexibility and these are available in a choice of finishes – white, chrome or satin chrome.   It comes with a seven year domestic warranty.

Inceptor Max builds on the high specification of the original model and offers an increased lumen output of 550Lm and increased efficacy of 70 lm/watt. It is available in dimmable (8.5W) and non-dimmable options (8W) – both packing a powerful punch in an extremely compact design.  The product utilises a custom built SMD LED chipset with a 6 LED array compared to the 3 LED array of the earlier models.  It comes with a ten year warranty for domestic use and five years for commercial applications.

The recently introduced Inceptor Adaptor Plate allows the Inceptor fittings to be retrofitted to existing downlight cut outs up to 120mm.  It is deal for replacing an older, bigger fitting, or suitable where the hole may have been cut too big and is available in chrome, satin chrome and white to match the Inceptor fittings.
