The UK’s market leader in luxury vinyl flooring, Karndean Designflooring, has launched two additions to its easy-fit ranges; Karndean LooseLay Series Three and Palio Clic by Karndean.

Karndean unveiled the new quick to install collections which feature the intricate finish and natural look customers have come to expect.

The plank and tile designs can be easily laid over most existing hard surfaces so long as they are dry, smooth, level and dust-free. Without the need for traditional cutting tools, both ranges can be trimmed to size with a sharp knife.Taking the brand into new territory, Palio Clic launched with a range of eight wood and four stone effect, on-trend designs, including the washed-wood hues of Sorano CP4508 and the deep grey stone Cetona CT4303.

The patented click-locking system allows installers to achieve an authentic and luxurious feel in any space without the need for glue.

The PU coating ensures that Palio Clic is durable and hardwearing, whilst the glass fibre layer adds stability, making it suitable for the busiest of environments.

Quieter than traditional laminate and warmer underfoot than wood and stone, Palio Clic is a luxury vinyl product in a convient and simple to use format.

The stylish new designs of the Karndean LooseLay Series Three range include the scandi–style light blonde hues of Cambridge LLP113 and the rustic, lime-washed look of Hartford LLP112.

Available in large scale wood look planks (41.3” x 9.85”) and tiles (19.7” x 24”),

LooseLay’s friction grip backing secures the floor firmly in place whilst the enhanced acoustic qualities help prevent sound transfer. Boasting a 13dB sound reduction in the rooms below, LooseLay is perfect for projects where noise levels need to be considered, such as apartments, loft conversions, offices and hotels.

Paul Barratt, managing director of Karndean Designflooring commented,

“Architects, interior designers and contractors are seeing the benefits of specifying Karndean LooseLay in place of traditional carpet tiles, and it’s continuing to grow from strength to strength in the marketplace.”

He said: “The collection is not only design-led but it’s also compatible with under floor services and raised access floors, allowing easy access at all times. Our newest wood designs are a welcome addition and reflect the trends we’re seeing within the industry.”

All Karndean floors have a generic Building Research Establishment (BRE) Green Guide rating of A/A+ in the UK. This means that builders, architects and designers specifying any of Karndean’s products can rest assured they are selecting products suitable for the guide.
